Spiritual cultivation requires self-restraint — not arguing about everything. Avoid arguing with angry people if you can.
People who like to argue are afflicted by pride, and pride leads to downfalls for a reason. When you argue, it is pride. If someone disagrees with you or insults your ideas, it is good to show restraint — this, too, is non-violence. Arguing with everyone degrades you. I’ve done it in the past. I’m not willing to anymore.
