Men’s loneliness
Confidence, testosterone, the manosphere — and refusing to make excuses.
Testosterone levels are directly associated with confidence. When you lack confidence, your testosterone levels drop — and if you aren’t doing anything, your body figures you don’t need them. This is why alpha males have high testosterone levels.
When life has knocked you down, money is short, and society has you struggling, testosterone levels suffer; and if because of those struggles you are cut off from intimacy and relationships of any kind, they drop further still.
“Your environment is emasculating you.”

To counter this, men who aren’t getting intimacy — or the confidence a partner brings — will seek a dopamine rush and a temporary illusion of virility. Welcome to the bro-sphere, the manosphere. Pornography provides a transient increase in both dopamine and testosterone, so men with lower testosterone levels are more vulnerable to porn addiction (that, and for some, controlling mothers not letting them grow up). As unemployment increases and opportunity becomes more scarce, more men will become addicted — and then, for some, be unable to perform when they have the chance, plummeting their levels further.
When men are in a society that lets more of them succeed based solely on their work ethic, their testosterone levels rise. When there are artificial barriers to any kind of success, they decline. And they know this.
“Manhood requires not making excuses. Period.”
— M0
At some point, you have no choice but to stop making excuses. If there are excuses, you still don’t make them.
M4 — the pansexual Mystic — believes incels should get with sex workers. Not a bad solution.
Many women in your own communities collectively don’t feel accepted, preferred, or cherished — while some men make excuses about women treating men badly. Don’t worry about them. Worry about ourselves. Start worrying about how we treat and cherish each other.
“They treat us bad.” “They want six-foot, rich, handsome men! They want the alphas!” Really? “They” treat us worse than we treat each other? Low self-esteem is programmed into people. It’s lucrative — especially for the likes.
